[ urk- there's a little falter in Ala's splashing around in the shallows of the blood sea, the briefest of glances up at Andy as if wary of his reaction, but none of that lasts very long. She gives a little twirl and laughs as she manages to get the blood on her skirt to fly off in all directions. ]
[He caught that little falter, which was a confirmation in and of itself. He already guessed the answer before he asked his question, honestly.
It'd make sense. The fact they had to summon a demon prince to figure out how to bring her back, and that Azusa had to summon her in a style similar to Vuvuzela or whatever that demon guy's name was... Andy could be wilfully blind at times, but he'd have to be stupid to ignore the evidence before him. It would also explain Ala's bizarre behaviour and unique perspective.
Well, she could just be weird and insane but, you know.]
So, you are then. [Andy sighed wearily.] Explains a lot.
[Did it bother him? Not really...? Ala had never done anything to hurt him - annoy, yes, and drive him insane - but she had plenty of chances to do evil shit to him, and to the others. Even though it was like apples and oranges, he couldn't help but think about his fellow espers, demonised simply because of what they are, assumed dangerous because they had the capacity to cause mass destruction, never mind they may be the most pacifistic person known to man.
Plus, alternative worlds and all that crap. Demons were probably different to the bible definition where she was from.]
It doesn't bother me, by the way. I was just curious.
[ There's a weight off her shoulders, and her next splashes bring her foot up into the air with a little kick that wasn't meant to cause the boot to go flying off her foot but it does, forcing her to leap further out into the ocean to grab the boot before it disappears into the depths and Andy will have to walk home in one boot.
She turns around in the ocean, waving the boot over her head like "look! I got it!" ]
Guess which one! I'll give you a prize if you get it right!
[Though, Andy was surprised she caught it. It would've been his usual lousy luck if it got kicked into the ocean, never to return (thus forcing him to hunt for boots his size in the empty houses), so he guessed that was nice of her. His grumble lacked any bite and heat, because of that.]
[ And if he doesn't guess right... then the boots are hers now (: she's going to wear them around forever, just double booting his boots over her own ]
[Now time for Andy's special ability: the kicked puppy look (you could practically see the drooping ears and tucked tail).
...though, to be honest, it was probably a blessing losing his boots to Ala's bloody, grubby little gremlin hands. Andy couldn't be bothered cleaning them out. He'll just steal a fresh pair from somewhere.]
dw trying to save you
Guess which one~
